Making a Charitable Bequest
At United Way of Siouxland we know our donors want to make a difference now in the lives of others. We also know we need to address future community needs that we may not even be able to imagine at this moment.
Remembering the United Way of Siouxland in your estate plans is a simple way to continue your support of our mission after your lifetime. Your commitment is a reflection of your values, and ultimately, your legacy.
One way you can help is by using your will to make a final expression of your lasting commitment to United Way. This can be done simply by inserting a "charitable bequest" in your will and stating that a certain dollar amount or percentage of your estate shall pass to United Way. Your attorney will know how to handle the wording of your bequest. Your generosity will enable us to plan for the future and give us the opportunity to honor you.
