This society was established in tribute to Arthur S. Garretson who came to Sioux City in 1874 at the age of 23. By the age of 30 he was a self-made millionaire, promoting many of the leading business enterprises of Sioux City. Donors who contribute more than $1,000 to United Way of Siouxland's annual campaign are part of this society.
