Each year United Way of Siouxland honors top business supporters at their annual Leadership Awards Luncheon. Last year's event was held on July 16 at the Marriott South Sioux City Riverfront in South Sioux City, Neb.
This year's event will take place at noon on August 18th at the Marriott South Sioux City Riverfront.
Last year five businesses received awards as the Small, Medium, Large, and Major Sized Businesses of the Year, along with Most Improved Campaign of the Year. Small Business has under 20 employees, Medium between 20-49, Large between 50-249, and Major 250 and over. Awards were based on several factors, including an increase in overall giving to the annual campaign year over year and employee participation. Special events held by businesses during their fundraising drive also contributed to their success.

- Medium Sized Business of the Year: Custom Woodworks
- Large Sized Business of the Year: Kling Companies, LLC
- Major Sized Business of the Year: Seaboard Triumph Foods
- Most Improved Campaign of the Year: Tyson Foods
