Le Mars Grant Process

The Le Mars United Way is dedicated to creating positive change in the community by helping children grow into successful adults and making sure that safety net services are available to meet basic human needs for people in crisis.

All Le Mars and Plymouth County organizations interested in receiving funding are invited to attend the required in-person training for the online process.  

Organizations that qualify for funding: 

Organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (or corresponding section of any future federal tax code), or to organizations defined as charitable under Section 170(b)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and its Regulations as presently existing or as hereafter amended.

All Le Mars and Plymouth County organizations are welcome to apply for funding and are invited to attend the required training for the online process. The 2026 training session will take place at noon on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Le Mars Training Center, 205 5th Ave. NW (use southside entrance marked Training Center).

In addition to training for the online application, the one-hour session will include information about the grant process and expectations of funded partners. 

Agencies interested in attending the March 11 training are asked to complete a contact form and submit it to Blake Branch, Community Impact & Communications Associate, before March 6.
