The Le Mars United Way is dedicated to creating positive change in the community by helping children grow into successful adults and making sure that safety net services are available to meet basic human needs for people in crisis.
All Le Mars and Plymouth County organizations interested in receiving funding are invited to attend the required training for the online process.
Training will take place from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13th at Floyd Valley Healthcare Conference Center in Le Mars, Iowa. The conference center is located on the lower level, enter doors at the northeast entrance (says Education Center above doors).
In addition to training for the online application, the one hour session will include information about the grant process, details of the partner agency agreement and a sample presentation.
The application deadline is April 4, 2019. Late applicaitons, regardless of reason, cannot be considered. Review of the applications and funding decision will be done in May, with all applying agencies notified in June.
