Each year United Way of Siouxland honors top business supporters at their annual Leadership Awards Luncheon/Kickoff.
This year's event will take place at noon on August 18th at the Marriott South Sioux City Riverfront.
Multiple businesses will be awarded for their outstanding campaign results:
Small, Medium, Large, and Major Sized Businesses of the Year, along with Most Improved Campaign of the Year.
Small Business has under 20 employees, Medium between 20-49, Large between 50-249, and Major 250 and over.
Awards are based on several factors, including an increase in overall giving to the annual campaign year over year and employee participation. Special events held by businesses during their fundraising drive also contributed to their success.
